  SUMMARY:
  
  Strengthen the collaboration with suppliers in the US to ensure smooth operation
  
  ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  
  •Schedule and coordinate suppliers visit within Mexico
  •Assess supplier capacity, identify bottlenecks, work collaboratively on action plans, continuous improvement activities, and follow ups
  •Review planning parameters and logistics aspects with suppliers and ensure that inventory levels are defined and adhere properly and resilience plan is put in place 
  •Ensure that processes are set up correctly and operating at optimal efficiency
  •Monitor production output and quality to ensure that maximum production targets are met
  •Assess supplier capacity and review in PowerBi
  
  
  QUALIFICATIONS:
  
  •University degree (Industrial Engineering preferred or any other technical degree)
  •Good working knowledge of manufacturing processes 
  •Purchasing experience is a plus
  
  
  KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED
  
  •Ability to travel, approx. 60% within Mexico and the US
  •5+ years of experience in Manufacturing, Quality or Purchasing, in a multinational environment, as well as in adjacent disciplines like Logistics, Supply Chain are welcomed
  •Confidence and ability to interact internally and externally at different organizational levels
  •Be comfortably operating in shopfloor environment at supplier
  •Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Tools and Techniques (VSM, TPM, OEE, 5S, SMED, line balancing, wastes elimination)
  •Basic knowledge in Quality and material flow
  •Proficient in digital communication
  •Ability to work in a dynamic, multicultural environment
  •Work efficiently and proactively to deliver results
