Solicita: Chemical Production Engineer

• Descripción y Requisitos

  The production Engineer will provide in-depth engineering, analytical and plant operating principles to support scale up operations and routine plant production. The production Engineer must be organized and methodical in their approach as well as an excellent communicator with a proven track experience of manufacturing.
  
  Responsibilities:
  

  • Be responsible for designing production plan, specifying process operation procedures and optimizing the equipment and other functions that affect product quality.
  • Expertise in understanding process running conditions and field equipment including packaging and warehouse area.
  • Design arrangement of equipment within plant facilities to ensure most efficient and productive layout.
  • Work closely with R&D team to develop applicable process for new product/equipment launch and troubleshooting, including the scale up of operations from an R&D setting to Production.
  • Investigate and initiate/document corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality.
  • Maintain accurate records of production activities, quality control checks and materials inventory
    
  Qualifications:
  
  • Minimum B.S. in Chemical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of overall experience as a chemical engineer in Chemical industry required
  • Experience with Process Safety Management, Process Control System, Management of Change, continuous process improvement and root cause investigation.
  • Experience with data analytics software (e.g., JMP, Minitab) and Design of Experiments.
  • Experience with ChemE platforms such as Aspen HYSYS
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience with hazardous chemicals handling, and HAZOP planning and analysis
