    EHS Manager

    Ensure Company and staff are provided with equity conditions, industrial and environmental safety, as well as ensure compliance with federal, state, and municipal legislation.

    Key Job Accountabilities:

    • Manage, Control, and maintain EHS Management System as well as EHS Legal requirements.
    • Execute EHS Audits and monitor compliance action plans.
    • Receive and respond customer´s audits and inspections.
    • Promote and ensure an EHS culture aligned with vision of Performance with Purpose: Safety & Sustainability that encourage projects and initiatives.
    • Fulfill key leadership role in all emergency response efforts, emergency response training drills, and the development of emergency response plan.
    • Manage & Control: Zero Accidents, Operational risks, Environmental Efficiency, Drive Programs.
    • Prepare annual work plans for each area (Industrial, Environmental, Heritage) and ensure compliance.
    • Prepare annual budget and track down monthly compliance.
    • Communicate with authorities of three levels of government, customers, service providers and external consultants.
    • Participate on EHS corporate monthly meetings.
    • Prepare monthly metrical reports and send to staff.
    • Review and approve service contracts.
    • Support in migration projects and ensure compliance with industrial, environmental, and labor safety measures.

    Education/Experience Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or business Administration is preferred.
    • Emergency responder experience
    • Knowledge of technical fundamentals of safety management and risk assessments and risk
    • Minimum 5 years of industrial safety and regulatory experience in a manufacturing setting, preference automotive experience
    • Fluency in Spanish and English
    • Knowledgeable in local, state and Federal safety, health and environmental Laws and regulations.
    • Reduction, including machinery and process safety, industrial hygiene, loss prevention, ergonomics, and occupational health.
    • Knowledgeable in the fundamentals of fire protection and loss prevention engineering
    • Effective communicator and change agent
    • Strong presentation skills – development and delivery
    • Lean manufacturing/continuous improvement processes
