  ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (What you will do)

  
  

  As Project Leader, you will lead assigned Manufacturing Engineering projects and new Product Industrialization projects for the Product Line Food Preservation team of North America. This role will challenge you to embrace industrialization and modularization of new products while improving the areas of safety, efficiency, quality and cost. You will drive process improvement and cost reduction within Electrolux through a broad range of projects and change management activities.    In detail, you will:

   Implement specific manufacturing engineering actions for new product or cost excellence projects in cooperation with plant manufacturing engineering

  • Develop, within the overall project plan, a detailed mapping of activities, listing exactly what needs to be done by whom, in what order and by when
  • Coordinate manufacturing engineering project members for the scope of the project
  • Prepare project summaries on a regular basis, manage project stage gates approvals, follow up on actions and report project progress
  • Apply cost methodologies, tools and appropriate software models and packages to prepare and maintain reliable and accurate data
  Elaborate and deliver functional and project cost KPIs, taking action to ensure goals are met, aiming for cost excellence for the company and on time, on budget delivery of all projects
  
  

  MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 

  1. Engineering University degree (Bachelor or Master)
  2. 5+ years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment
  3. 3+ years’ experience leading and managing projects; project management certification is a plus
  4. Experience with industrial equipment, manufacturing systems, project specifications and bidding process
  5. Effective communication skills, problem solving skills and experience leading cross functional teams
  6. Knowledge of key functional areas in product development (Purchasing, Manufacturing, Project Management, Controlling, Quality Management, R&D)
  7. Advanced Microsoft Office skills
  8. Fluent English, written and spoken
