BilingualThe EHS Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and implementing the organization's EHSS related programs. This role involves developing and enforcing safety policies and procedures, conducting inspections and audits, providing training to employees, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. The EHS Supervisor collaborates with various departments to promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.Profesional degree Professional certifications in EHS (e.g., Certified Safety Professional, Certified Environmental Manager) are preferred. 5+ years of experience in EHS roles, with at least some experience in a supervisory or leadership capacity. Strong knowledge of environmental and safety regulations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in using EHS management software and tools. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Regulatory and Compliance: Monitor and ensure compliance with local and federal safety regulations. Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions. Develop and maintain EHSS related SOPs, policies, and programs. Training and Education: Develop and deliver training programs for employees, contractors, and visitors. Keep employees informed about changes in regulations and best practices. Incident and Risk Management: Identify and assess potential risks and hazards in the workplace. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies. Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses to identify root causes and implement preventive measures. Maintain records of incidents and report as required by regulations. Emergency Response: Develop and oversee emergency response plans and procedures. Conduct drills and simulations to ensure preparedness for emergencies. Continuous Improvement: Regularly review and update safety and environmental policies and procedures to reflect best practices and regulatory changes. Participate in audits and self-assessments to identify areas for improvement. Safety Culture Promotion: Establish EHSS committee and implement regular meetings. Cultivate a culture of safety by promoting awareness and accountability among employees. Collaborate with management to set up EHSS KPIs, and annual work plan. Strengthen network by engaging with the FXN EHSS (ARCC)to leverage best practices and enhance or safety culture. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records and documentation related to safety and environmental activities. Prepare and submit required reports to regulatory agencies.
