  INTEGER/ VENUSA DE MEXICO (EMPRESA MEDICA)* Planner Position scope/summary

  • To maintain and satisfy customer demand with optimum finish goods inventory levels and resource utilization.
  • Create and maintain a valid production schedule by effectively balance supply capacity and demand for product.
  • Responsible to plan and drive the necessary assemblies, materials and components in the quantity, quality, and time required to meet the production schedule.
  • Maintain the right Inventory levels to support production and meet the Company Inventory targets.
  • Be a reliable communicator of business conditions. Publish incidents within an objective and clear manner with the adequate sense of urgency.

  Essential duties and responsibilities

  • Meet planned inventory levels to meet targeted inventory turns.
  • Monitor and negotiate existing inventory to avoid materials obsolescence.
  • Set up and maintain proper item master data within ERP system as well as hard copy purchase order and contract files. Maintain planned lead times, lot sizes, safety stocks, delivery times, etc included in the item master for all items assigned (Make & Buy).
  • Responsible to assist quality and engineering in the evaluation and/or audit of existing or new supply base, and initiate or support Cost Reduction efforts.
  • Analyze the demand and keep balance within the supply chain, manufacturing capacity and demand to develop a valid monthly production schedule.  Responsible for the OTD performance indicator of the plant.
  • Provide feedback and recommend actions to ANY supply vs. demand discrepancy and recommend strategies. 
  • Timely release of shop orders to Manufacturing and Warehouse for material preparation.
  • Responsible for the immediate detailed planning of the flow of orders through manufacturing, carrying out the plan, and controlling the work as it progress to completion.
  • Meet with manufacturing management to make sure production strategy aligns with available resources.

  Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree
  • Fluent in Spanish and English
  • Must have good ERP working experience and knowledge.
  • Superior communication skills
  • Teamwork oriented
  • 1 to 3 years materials/purchasing experience
