The Logistics Manager is responsible for import and distribution of finished goods to customers, whilst facilitating transportation between affiliates. This includes driving transportation optimization while driving cost out of the business and facilitating a strategic outlook that will better serve all stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for On Time Delivery / SCOT for distribution
  • Overcome road blocks to ensure delivery is made in line with internal and external customers requirements
  • Drive transportation productivity projects
  • Develop, coach and lead “DFR/MEACAT” distribution team, setting measurable goals and objectives to evaluate success
  • Drive standardization of transportation processes across Europe.
  • Responsible for quality & ITC compliance of distribution role.

Quality Specific Goals:

  1. Aware of and comply with the Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position
  2. Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines
  3. Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required.
  4. Proficient knowledge, understanding and leadership for International Trade Compliance, identify, report and resolve any trade compliance issues.
  5. Proficient knowledge, understand and leadership for operating within security programs such as CTPAT and AEO to ensure that warehousing, packaging and transportation requirements are met.


  1. Bachelor’s degree/Masters degree in a logistics or Transportation Management related field.
  2. Minimum of 8 years related experience with multiple distribution centers, all modes of transportation, international trade compliance, financial analysis and project management.
  3. Bilingual
  4. Execution skills, with the ability to meet firm deadlines.
  5. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Power Point, and Access.
  6. Ability to influence and collaborate across functions and businesses.
  7. Business/financial acumen, proficient in leading and setting direction for teams, including ability to motivate, influence and drive change at all levels of the organization. 
  8. Growth leadership skills demonstrating clear global perspective and understand factors impacting businesses.
  9. CTPAT experience
  10. NAFTA experience
  11. Productivity projects implementation experience
  12. APICS Certification
