Solicita: IT Support Engineer
    Descripción y Requisitos

DeEscrituraion:

Serves to ensure mission critical systems within the business supply chain or R&D functions remain operational, are standardized as closely as possible to the centralized support model.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Support – to provide robust solutions to issues involving mission critical systems, as reported by the business, in a timely manner.
  • Root Cause – to identify the root cause of issues and ensure that ongoing solutions are translated into an offering presented by central support.
  • Standardization – to work with the business, support colleagues and technical partners to improve and standardize current solutions.

Quality Expectations:

  • Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines
  • Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and support corrective actions

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 year IT experience.
  • Experience in the provision of customer services in an IT related surrounding.
  • Have a broad level of understanding surrounding IT systems (i.e., desktop, networks, servers) and professional service provision.
  • Knowledge of technologies relevant to the support area – this could be desktop, networks and servers, business or PC applications.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BS Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related.
  • Analytic, creative and technical problem solver.
  • Greenbelt certified.
  • English 80%
  • Understands the technologies currently deployed: WAN/LAN, Windows XP, Active Directory, MS Office, email, VPN client, Dial up, and how they are used.
  • Understands special technologies being used as ‘mission critical’ equipment.
