    Descripción y Requisitos

      I.        Job Summary: Responsible for developing the master production plan to satisfy customer demand while carrying minimum effective inventory.

  1. Create a rolling 3-month Master Production Plan for designated products. Utilize the production capacity, taking into consideration the sales forecast, historical sales, and new business opportunities. Analyze and identify risks associated with the options built into the Master Production Plan, including manufacturing lead times. Make delivery commitments on MTO products, which involve checking uncommitted material and availability of capacity.
  2. Develop inventory targets and manage production to achieve targeted inventory levels on both a cost and unit basis. Maintain finished goods inventory at target levels in ensure high service levels, i.e. product availability.
  3. Project finished goods inventory levels on a quarterly basis. Achieve desired corporate inventory turn targets.
  4. Insure coordination with plant schedulers to execute Production Plan on a weekly and monthly basis. Monitor actual output versus the Master Production Plan. Identify gaps and drive solutions, including a metric on production performance to the requested production schedule.
  5. Review sales forecast with business manager on a monthly basis, and suggest modifications consistent with knowledge of current or historical demand.
  6. Timely reporting of key metrics.

10.  Support the S&OP process meetings to review service levels, performance against schedule, inventory strategy, supply plan to meet demand, and resource implications. Update Master Production Plan as necessary.

7.  Quality system.

  1. Work on adherence to the work instruction accomplishing with IATF 16949 and VDA audit requirements.
  2. Make periodical revisions of the procedures and before due or as early as required

8.  Safety.

  1. Keep and ensure safety work environment.
  2. Follow security rules and reinforce not making unsafe acts or activities

9.  Environmental.

  1. In adherence to the company polices for health environment responsibilities.

    II.Competences required to perform the job (functional and interpersonal skills):

  1. Professional competences: Knowledge on customs law, IMMEX companies, CTPAT, SAP system acknowledge, Analyst, Inventory management for import/export quantities.  
  2. General competences: Good communication skills, leader responsible, self-motivated 

   III.        Education:

  1. Professional degree preferred, BA/BS degree Preferred Areas of Study: Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operation Research
  2. English 85 %

   IV.        Work Experience:

  1. Mínimum 3 year on same position
  2. Experience in managing manufacturing processes, productivity, and efficiency measurements
  3. Experience using MRP / ERP systems, especially Advance Planning Systems
  4. Similar or Related Experience Desired:

    V.        Certifications / Training:

  1. APICS training as a plus

  1. Report water or oil leaks in machines to the EHS department.
  2. Report the lack of environmental badges to the EHS department.
  3. Turn off equipment when they are not being used, includes offices if applicable.
  4. Dispose correctly without mixing of Hazardous and Non-hazardous waste (Cardboard, plastic, etc).
  5. Respect the quality rules at all times to reduce the generation of scrap.
